I’m wildly passionate about helping things flourish and grow: flowers, veggies, pollinators and mission-based businesses.
My vision is to help businesses with purpose look harder at their stories and tell them in more compelling ways that inspire positive action. My mission: relentlessly advocate for brands making our food, climate, citizens and world better.
I’ve worked in PR for 25 years on behalf of businesses ranging from Fortune 500 and startup tech companies to organic and natural food businesses. I spent 10 years at Haberman, a full-service marketing agency in Minneapolis before founding The Urban Farmhands, a backyard farming business.
Today, in addition to Pollinator Communications, I’m the director of strategic communications and engagement for Kindship Group, www.kindshipgroup.com.
I have a BA in journalism from the University of Iowa and a master’s in communications from the University of Northern Iowa. I’m also certified in digital marketing through Columbia University and Emeritus.
I live in the Highlands neighborhood of Denver with my husband, Jason, and our kids, Ryder and Lola. As a Colorado Master Gardener, I work with non profits around Denver, helping people garden and grow food.
